"A Whole Lot of Nothing"

 
"A Whole Lot of Nothing" is a song I wrote about my healing journey. It's about no longer giving my love, worth, and freedom to the emotionally unavailable. I heard the hook to this song in a dream I had in the mid-90s. I wrote it down, and over the years, I have added to and even changed the lyrics depending on where I was in my healing journey. In 2024, five years after ending an abusive relationship, I reflected deeply on the lessons and wisdom I gained from that experience. I realized how far I had come in learning to be truly okay on my own. And now, I've finally completed writing the lyrics to this song as a result.
